Worked really well!

Not the sort of App I use daily, but I just moved a feature length documentary from FCP 7 to FCPX 10.1. The doc had been edited over 3 1/2 years in FCP 7 so you can imagine the timeline! I exported the final Sequence to XML …. ran it through 7 to X … and imported into FCP X. Took 10 minutes.

The resultant Project timeline in FCP X was a compounded clip, which when opened revealed a very well laid out Ptoject … seemed to be clearer than when I last attempted this a few versions ago ( on a different project! ).

So now Im set to go doing text work, color correcting and will lay the final mix into this for output.

Couldnt be happier.
