Can’t use it

I got this thinking that the FCP7 projects that I had completed would open up in FCPX — but it needs to be opened in FCP7 FIRST and then translated to XML before this app will transfer it. My computer died along with FCP7 and the new computer won’t let me use it so I am SCREWED!
