Need Final Cut Pro 7 to use!!!!!

1. Open the project into Final Cut Pro 7

So the program is useless if you do not have Final Cut Pro 7

Final Cut Pro 7 is NOT supported on Mavericks,
So I need to buy an old mac computer and an old copy of FCP 7 just to open a file to make a few edit changes?
and buy a one time use piece of software for $9.99?

Does Apple still have a software department, or was that folded into Jony Ives’ hardware design department?
