Has issues, but Ive found a workaround

When translating a sequence exported from Final Cut Pro 7 (FCP7), I received this error:

There was a problem converting this XML
Please choose another XML file exported from
Final Cut Pro 7.

I determined that the problem occurs when you have cross dissolves on events in the V2 track in the FCP7 sequence.

Once I deleted the cross dissolve transitions on all events in the V2 track, the translation worked. Cross dissolves are OK to leave in the V1 track.

Hopefully this information is helpful to other users experiencing issues.
